Today we celebrated our friend Lulu’s birthday, which gave me an opportunity to set aside a couple of shirts I’m making for Oliver and work on a gift!
I used this FREE pattern and some yummy Amy Butler fabrics (of course!).
The inside, complete with magnetic snaps and two pockets:
We celebrated in a cute little park near her house which gave Oliver the chance to eat sand play on the jungle gym.

Love this purse and the fabrics you chose. This is the second blog I’ve read today from someone who made this purse (actually a mother/daughter each made one). LOL. Maybe I should do one too. Great gift.

My grandson was about that age, and he had always smelled like such a clean smelling little baby. Took him to a playground, he threw sand, ate sand, typical boy stuff, and within minutes, he smelled like a sweaty little boy. From that day on, he smelled like a boy, not a sweet smelling baby. They grow up so fast.

Can Oliver get any cuter? He’s at such a fun age – so many things to explore and learn.
Happy Father’s Day!

OMG. I love it when he comes down the slide and turns himself around and then “swims” in the sand. What a difference a year makes! It’s wonderful that you can capture all of these moments on video. Happy Father’s Day!

REALLY cute bag and even cuter little boy! Happy Father’s Day to you and Papa!

I love that bag! When you start selling them, I want the first one!!
Every kid I’ve ever known has eaten sand. What IS that all about? I can understand the first taste (or even two) – exploring their worlds through their mouths and all that. But it can’t taste good (can it? Are all the adults missing out on some epicurian delight?), so why KEEP eating it?

I JUST made myself that purse too!!! I used some gorgeous “Belle” fabric by Amy Butler! I’ll have to post some pics on my blog soon! It was fun to make and I bought the pattern, thinking I may start making some to sell! (Eventually!)

Happy (belated) Father’s Day! That bag is adorable. I LOOOVE Amy Butler fabrics! All the curtains and dining room chair seat covers will be AB prints.

Super cute bag! Makes me want to bust out my sewing machine! Oliver is getting so big too, I cant believe he’s already honing his slide skills, college is right around the corner now.
