This morning Oliver woke with a fever and has been lethargic and mellow all day. Because it was a low-grade fever we didn’t give him anything since it means his body is fighting something and he didn’t seem uncomfortable.
Then after he woke from his nap the fever was up to 103.1 which is just outside my comfort level. So we gave him Motrin and put him on the sofa for another Thomas the Train marathon. I left him in Papa’s competent hands while I went out to my studio to do a bit of sewing.
A little bit later this is what I saw on the patio:
I guess the Motrin is working!

I guess you could say that. Hope the little fella is making a good recovery still – and that naughty Papa cleared up all the toys

Looks like Motrin is a miracle drug! Glad he’s feeling better!

OMG could he get cuter?

I’m glad he’s feeling better. My mom used to say (well, she used to shout) “If you’re well enough to make a mess of my house, you’re well enough to go to school!”
It used to be really sad/confusing when she’d start shouting it on the weekends.

He is so beautiful! I remember nights holding a wide awake little boy watching Thomas – and that was 24 years ago!

I can’t think of anything that would put you in a coma more than Thomas. LOL I can tolerate any of the little kids programs but just a big NO to Thomas.
I always love your little videos of Oliver…he’s just the cutiest and sweetest little boy to watch grow up.

Hope Oliver is feeling better today. He has grown so very much! It is exciting to watch his progress. Frank, when my neighbour had twins, her then eldest who was 5 at the time did the laundry for the family. He would go down the basement and load (a front loader) and start the machine. This was so amazing!

Hah! He showed Papa what he thought about going in the toy bag! Precious!
